The Family

The Family was founded in 2002 and rapidly became one of the major institutions of the Italian advertising industry. In 2018 the Milan-based company expanded its activities to include entertainment and cinema and now produces, along with commercials, feature films, tv-series, short-films and documentaries for the national and international markets, many of which have been recognised with various prestigious awards. The company is a full-scale service provider for external productions and has recently acted as production service-provider on Peter Greenaway’s latest film, starring Dustin Hoffman, Helen Hunt and Sofia Boutella. Among the most recent productions are tv series Made in Italy, distributed world-wide, and feature film Volare, starring and directed by Margherita Buy, one of Italy’s greatest contemporary actresses.

The Family prides itself in working and nurturing excellent relationships with some of the top directors of the industry, such as Kathryn Bigelow, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Luca Lucini and Paolo Genovese.
